The Durapower 1+3 Unit
A duraApower 1+3 unit is a manually adjusted and monitored, ‘off-the-shelf’, self-contained, switch mode CP power supply for one zone. It is termed ‘1+3’ because it has power supply for 1 zone and 3 inputs for half cells.
A durApower1+3 unit is a manually controlled unit that only requires a 12V power supply to work as a CP controller.
The unit can be installed in existing suitable cabinets or it can be supplied mounted with a transformer in a PUK 9 plastic box for direct connection to the mains.

The output of each durApower1+3 unit is measured across the output terminals. Results should be checked on installation at the anode zone input to provide information on IR drop along the power cables but this should be negligible. After setting the power is adjusted automatically but slowly to that required.
In the photo of the durApower1+3 the data shown on the screen is how it appears when monitoring the power on the output terminals. Pressing a button on the front changes the screen to the last half cell readings with the power on and the last instant off readings as shown inset top right of the photo.
