Tools for CP
As with most concrete repair procedures the job is made easier if the correct tools are available. A series of tools have been developed specifically for the application of cathodic protection.
durAnode4 Torque screwdriver
The torque screwdriver is sold separately to the durAspanner and hexbit. The screwdriver is used to tighten the pin in durAnode4 down onto the titanium feeder wire. The screwdriver has a set torque that is designed to ensure that the titanium pin penetrates the sheath of the titanium wire in exactly the same way every time to ensure a perfect connection without exposure of the titanium wire. This prevents leakage of the current from the wire which is embedded in the concrete.
