SRCP has supplied Roll Anodes for Cockle Creak Bridge piers. Extreme fibre stresses were a concern and SRCP advised that this could be overcome by pushing in the anodes so that the surface 100mm of the anode hole could be grouted with a high strength grout. Rarely is stress due to the drilled holes an issue but where it is design the anodes to be closer to the neutral axis.
